Face to Face Feeding Consultation

I can offer you a face to face personalised feeding consultation in the hospital or in the comfort of your home.

The consultation will include a discussion about your feeding goals and any concerns. We will talk through your medical history, pregnancy and birth as well as your baby’s feeding history to date. I will observe you feeding your baby and offer information and guidance to support your feeding choices and goals and the well-being of you and your baby.

My aim is to assist you and your key support partners to feel confident feeding your baby and offer you a toolkit of options to do this.

What I can help With:

Whilst you may contact me for a specific reason such as one below you will receive a full consultation of all aspects of your baby’s feeding needs.

Key points:

2 hour feeding consultation.
Complimentary access to my online breastfeeding course providing you with videos and supportive materials.
In your home or in the hospital.
A support person is welcome, and encouraged, to participate in the session.
10 days support by phone and text. In cases where a significant level of support is required it may be necessary to arrange a follow up consultation either face to face or by phone / video.
Follow up consultations can be arranged as needed.
Siblings are welcome to participate.

Virtual Feeding Consultation

£130

A video consultation is a great option if a face to face consultation is not right for you. They can be a very effective and empowering method when accessing healthcare. We will be able to talk over your history and any concerns you might have. I can observe you feeding your baby and make appropriate suggestions to meet your individual needs. I recommend you have someone with you during your appointment as they will be able to hold your phone so you can feed your baby as you normally would. You can also provide me with videos of your feeding your baby which I can review prior to our consultation. If after an initial phone conversation I do not feel that online help will meet your needs then I will guide you to more local support.

A face to face or virtual consultation includes 10 days of phone / text support. In some cases greater levels of follow up support is desired. We will be in regular contact after your initial consultation but I am able to make additional visits to you should you wish.

Follow up Phone consultation

£45 / 30 minutes

Please do remain in touch with me after your initial consultation so we can assess and adjust any recommendations. In most cases we can make small adjustments but if we need to make a more detailed plan then we can schedule a longer follow up session.

Incredibly supportive, knowledgeable and passionate. Lisa went out of her way to help me and my daughter with some feeding challenges we were having. She really took the time to listen, understand and observe, and suggest very helpful practical suggestions that were tailored to our needs. Lisa has been absolutely amazing. We have had a difficult breastfeeding journey with lots thrown at us - tongue tie, jaundice and mastitis. Lisa was with me every step of the way and without her expertise, support and experience I would definitely have given up breastfeeding. She is incredibly approachable and responsive. I cannot recommend Lisa’s services enough. It’s just a shame that every family can’t be gifted a Lisa to help them through what feels like some of the most challenging days of new parenthood.
